Last day of the month… feels like fall

I am so bummed that it already feels like fall. Our summer was so cold and so short. I have a bunch of negative self-talk going on that I need to stop! I am super afraid that I am going to abandon all my training during the winter. Already I haven’t been on my bike since the race.

So after a long day of sleeping in (after bad back to school nightmares), sitting in front of the computer and generally doing nothing, I finally got out and did some gardening and mowed the lawn. So that’s something….

I need to work on some new goals for fall that are specific and realistic to keep me going.

    I’m with you. While I love to break out the comfy sweaters, the shorter days and the chilly air are enough to keep me stitched to my duvet. Setting new goals, and finding a fun, bright, zippy place to work out makes a difference to keep going.
