Wii Walking

I was supposed to go to the gym today… But came home from the last day of school before break and jus wanted to chill with a glass of wine. Guilt made me do some Wii walking after the first glass. Not as good as the treadmill, but better than sitting on th couch. Also need to break 10,000 for my daily pedometer steps… A few more to go.

Treadmill

Free weights

I started the “melt the belt” 12 week program at the YMCA. talked about goals with the trainer and did measurements. Then we did a free weight work out. Can’t say That I really clicked with this guy. But it will work for this piece. They have other trainers that I can hire if I feel the need for the extra motivation. I will meet with him about every 10-14 days for 12 weeks to check in on how the plan is going. The current goal is to get to the gym 3x a week to do 20 min of weights and 40 mins of cardio.

Wii

I rejoined the ymca with a black friday weekend special where I will get a free month if I get there 8 times in December and a 12 week trainer supported melt the belt program. But still don’t feel totally ready to go there. So out of shape, embarrassingly so. So tonight I did some Wii fit jogging in place while watching some DVR shows.

Sadly, my poor old dog really doesn’t like me working out and barked and barked at me the whole 20 mins. I guess he would prefer I do my jogging in place at the Y than here in the living room.
